Thank you for taking the time to report this. Do you mean that it happens every time the phone reconnects? Or do you see an un-ending stack of the same notification from the beginning? The phone can become disconnected and reconnect by itself because Android does not like having the app running in the background. This would seem like the notification comes back at random every half hour or so but it's really functioning as intended. Hi Simon, the notification occours again after a few seconds when I close it. Maybe it's a problem with etar. Btw. I have Android 7 Greetings Martin New information was added with comment 2; changing status for inspection. I'm seeing the same behaviour, also with the Etar calendar. I get a notification on my computer of a calendar event, close it on the computer but let it remain on the phone, and it returns on the computer a few seconds later. I'm not sure if it occurs with other notifications, since Etar is the only application I run on the phone which shows persistent notifications.
