STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open kate with terminal command. but using shell script.
example
2. kate -n path1/path2/name.txt&

OBSERVED RESULT
cant showing on taskbar. but can open name.txt.

EXPECTED RESULT
kate can showing on taskbar. from shell script.

Operating System: Kubuntu 19.10
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.67.0
Qt Version: 5.12.4
Kernel Version: 5.3.0-45-lowlatency

I can't reproduce this on kate from git master.

I open kate -n ~/test.c and it shows on my taskbar with "test.c - Kate" as the name.

Can you please retest and confirm this is still an issue.
