Description glyphimor 2020-03-27 21:34:08 UTC
SUMMARY

When attempting to log out from KDE, each Dolphin window w/ multiple tabs raises a dialog requiring the user to confirm he wants to quit. Logout doesn't complete until the dialogs are dismissed. This behavior makes sense when the user attempts to close a Dolphin window, but not when logging out -- Plasma preserves application windows/state across sessions.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a Dolphin window
2. Open a 2nd tab
3. Try to log out from KDE

OBSERVED RESULT

The Dolphin window raises a confirmation prompt ("You have multiple tabs open in this window, are you sure you want to quit?").

EXPECTED RESULT

The Dolphin window doesn't raise a confirmation prompt.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.67.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.67.0
Qt Version: 5.14.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Behavior was not present in my previous version of dolphin (19.08.3; Plasma 5.64.0).
