Cross reference: bug 431004 - Screen sharing non-functional at meet.jit.si (Jitsi Meet) Created attachment 134419 [details] attachment-16371-0.html 👍😁 El jue, 31 dic 2020 a las 8:01, Graham Perrin (<bugzilla_noreply@kde.org>) escribió: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419206 > > Graham Perrin <grahamperrin@gmail.com> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > CC| |grahamperrin@gmail.com > > --- Comment #1 from Graham Perrin <grahamperrin@gmail.com> --- > Cross reference: > > bug 431004 - Screen sharing non-functional at meet.jit.si (Jitsi Meet) > > -- > You are receiving this mail because: > You reported the bug. > You are on the CC list for the bug. It appears that you are using Kali Linux, which is not appropriate for general use, and you will find a million and a half other little weirdnesses like this, because running everything as root is explicitly unsupported and never recommended. I would encourage you to re-install your system with a more appropriate general purpose Linux distro, such as one of the ones you can se at https://kde.org/distributions. Created attachment 137366 [details] attachment-1310-0.html Don't justify your position that I use Kali-linux. The same error I have had in other distributions, but it is now that I have reported it. You are being easy to locate my bug as resolved when it is not. Also in Kali KDE works very well. You are acting bad El lun, 5 abr 2021 a las 20:00, Nate Graham (<bugzilla_noreply@kde.org>) escribió: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419206 > > Nate Graham <nate@kde.org> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Resolution|--- |NOT A BUG > Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED > CC| |nate@kde.org > > --- Comment #3 from Nate Graham <nate@kde.org> --- > It appears that you are using Kali Linux, which is not appropriate for > general > use, and you will find a million and a half other little weirdnesses like > this, > because running everything as root is explicitly unsupported and never > recommended. If it happens in other distros too, sure. :) Created attachment 137378 [details] attachment-24837-0.html this problem also occurs in konqueror in other distributions. I have worked on KDE under Debian and this problem occurs. Right now I can't prove it because I don't have it installed. I insist on Kali-linux konqueror and all KDE works fine.
