Created attachment 126962 [details] Dead key lesson With the French “bépo” layout, I cannot enter any character requiring the use of a dead key. In the lesson dedicated to dead keys, I cannot even enter the first character. Looking at the attached screenshot (dead-keys.png), one could think that it’s because the dead ^ is disabled in that lesson (which is a problem in itself), however it also happens in a later lesson where it is enabled (dead-keys-2.png). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set the layout to bépo (fr-bepo) 2. Among the proposed KTouch lessons, choose “Accents morts ^ et ¨ (Ê, Î, Û, Â, Ô, Ï, Ä)” or “Pangrammes accentués” 3. Try to enter ê, î, û, â, ô, ï or ä, using the dead ^ key left of “v”, or the dead ¨ with AltGr+i. OBSERVED RESULT The accent is dropped, as if the dead key had never been pressed. EXPECTED RESULT The accent is present. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KTouch: 19.12.3 Linux: 5.5.10 X.Org: 1.20.7 KDE Frameworks: 5.68.0 Qt: 5.14.1
