Description sowieso 2020-03-16 06:22:58 UTC
As the docs say:
”Everything is handled on your PC between the browser and your desktop, no additional data is sent via the web.”,
I'm a bit confused why I see this line running the command ‘lsof -Pi’

plasma-br  1805   me  153u  IPv4   29822      0t0  TCP 192.168.0.4:36280->server-99-84-133-80.nrt57.r.cloudfront.net:443 (CLOSE_WAIT)

This connection is permanently in state CLOSE_WAIT. But why is there a connection to cloudfront in the first place? This doesn't really sound like respecting my privacy.

Please elaborate and in case it's a bug, please fix it.

Observed in Firefox 74.0 (64-bit).

KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.3

I can see a bunch of unusual connections to AWS, and other crap being listed when running it in Firefox. I suspect it's Firefox leaking that to the host? There is nothing when running Chrome.

The only active networking code in the p-b-i host is mimetype determination when using the "Share..." menu.
