SUMMARY
I would like to have a feature request: keyframeable speed effect. For example, the clip on the timeline would start at 100% playback speed, and continously would speed up to 200%.
This effect can be used when only a part of a videoclip would be played faster, but the transition would be smooth: first clip: 100%; second: 100%->200%; third: 200%; fourth: 200%->100%; fifth: 100%...
As I know this effect can only be done if I would cut the clip into lots of parts, and apply the speed effect one by one... which would be really time consuming.

I change it to wishlist. Implementation depends on MLT framework on which Kdenlive relay.

Thanks for your feature request! I am glad to tell you that the new version 21.08 comes with a time remapping feature which is almost what you are requesting. The release notes with a description of the feature will probably be available next week on https://kdenlive.org
I am closing this report now. Feel free to open a new one if you are facing bugs while using the new feature.
