STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click save as on any image

OBSERVED RESULT
File dialog doesn't open. When launching from cli this error shows in the console:
firefox:6625): Gtk-WARNING **: 17:52:23.465: Can't open portal file chooser: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: No such interface “org.freedesktop.portal.FileChooser” on object at path /org/freedesktop/portal/desktop

Without the xdg-portal enabled it works normally

You need to install xdg-desktop-portal-kde or xdg-desktop-portal-gtk.

I already have it installed, it worked before

The error suggests neither of them is running. Can you verify that?

oh, I see. I will reinstall the xdg package and firefox to see if solves the issue

A reinstall along with a reboot seemed to solve the issue. Thanks!
