Description ericmitchell_ca 2020-03-12 01:09:10 UTC
SUMMARY
Filtered list of people tags when entering a name to a face region is too narrow. Full tag heirarchy is cut off. If a name appears more than once in the heirarchy, you can't tell which grouping it falls under.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open People tab
2. Select a face region
3. Clear the existing name
4. Type part of a name that appears in more than one part of the people heirarchy

OBSERVED RESULT
The filtered list includes all results that contain the entered text. The width of the drop-down list is limited to the width of the text field on the face thumbnail. As a result, the individual results are truncated in length and will not show the tag containers if the full tag "path" exceeds this width.

EXPECTED RESULT
Option 1 (preferred): The drop-down list is automatically sized in width to the longest tag path.

Option 2: The user may hover the mouse pointer over a line and get a tooltip with the full tag path.

You can set in the setup that only people tags (the people flag for the tags can be set) is displayed, then the length should be sufficient.
