Re-opening as the cited commit did not fix the crash. Do your tested with the Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage_Build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ ? No Appimages here. But I can tell you that kdenlive built from master from a few minutes ago does not crash on close. Thanks for the feedback. Could you test with the AppImage as well to make sure the issue is solved on the master (which will be implanted into the upcoming version 20.04) No, I can't test with the Appimage, and I don't see the use after already confirming that master works fine. I would like to know how to fix 19.12.3 instead in order to provide a stable version to users. Fixed after cherry-picking git commit 78f8880a3d9c1e37548b5146d9f61f05ab7032ea for 19.12.3. - What I was doing when the application crashed:
I opened the program, closed it and ir crashed. Opened it and closed it again from the menu, and it still crashed. No other programs were running.
