I'm unable to reproduce on 4.2.8 (Snap) on Linux, as well as the current master. I tried:
- creating a slanted circle
- right-click, Duplicate layer
- Layer menu, Transform, Rotate, Rotate layer, 30º to the right
and only the selected layer was rotated.

I also downloaded 4.2.8 (portable) and tested it on Windows 10 1809. No issues either.

Thanks for your comment!

Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team
knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed.

In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.

Well, it's not working on mine so that doesn't help.

Comment 6 Halla Rempt 2020-02-24 09:16:34 UTC
I cannot reproduce either. Could you maybe make a screen recording showing the problem?
Comment 7 cyberlumiere 2020-02-24 15:43:36 UTC
I solved it. If you rename the layer from copy of xxx to something else, it only moves the one layer. That's a bug that should be fixed.

Comment 8 Halla Rempt 2020-02-24 16:37:32 UTC
Sorry, but no, that does not solve it, since your observation is obviously incorrect: I never renamed anything and could not reproduce the issue. So please make the screen recording like I asked you to.
Comment 9 cyberlumiere 2020-02-24 16:40:04 UTC
Well, it worked for me and that's what matters to me. My observation is correct, because again, it worked for me. You didn't give me a solution, I found the solution myself so I suggest you work on your customer service because it's poor and then try working on getting the solution, because again, you didn't solve it, I DID.

A) This is a bug tracker, not a customer service forum.
B) You didn't solve anything, you only think you did.
C) I couldn't help you because you failed to provide the information asked for.
Comment 11 cyberlumiere 2020-02-24 16:45:21 UTC
Wow. That poor customer service again. Since it works for me NOW, I did fix it. And you did NOT. That's all I need to know.
