Screenshot of failed Geolocation editor

SUMMARY
I find that I need administrator privilege for geolocator to show the selected files and their metadata

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select one or more photo
2. Open item>Edit geolocation
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
No file list is available under the map en no gps details are available for editing.

When I do this with Run as administrator the file list is displayed.

EXPECTED RESULT
For any non-privileged user to have the selected files available for edit in the file list.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: Windows 10 1909 X64
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I would argue that the need to run as admin for proper operation is a security bug.

You don't need admin right (:-))... There is just an horizontal splitter better the image list view and the mapview on the top. Just use the mouse to resize the splitter, Et voilĂ ...

Right indeed. Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

[my humble excuse is that I use a Surface Pro in tablet mode 99% of the time. So the solution was not obvious since I use pen/mouse only when the application is very touch unfriendly]
