Screenshot of failed Geolocation editor
|
Created attachment 126178 [details] Screenshot of failed Geolocation editor SUMMARY I find that I need administrator privilege for geolocator to show the selected files and their metadata STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select one or more photo 2. Open item>Edit geolocation 3. OBSERVED RESULT No file list is available under the map en no gps details are available for editing. When I do this with Run as administrator the file list is displayed. EXPECTED RESULT For any non-privileged user to have the selected files available for edit in the file list. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 10 1909 X64 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I would argue that the need to run as admin for proper operation is a security bug.
