Well, if you type a path and don't press Enter then for all intents and purposes you're still in the same dir... You could type the path in the Name: box /path/to/wherever/file.txt and it'll save the file there. As I described in the bug description, the effect of pressing Enter is ambiguous. If there line edit where you're typing the path has focus, pressing Enter has only one effect, opening that path. |
