SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. choose to import "image"
2. go to the folder "download" in PC
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT

 no video file is displayed in the list

EXPECTED RESULT

not only images are in the list but also videos

ok i compared with 6.4.

the problem with 7 is the import tool is not launched. it is the dolphin file dialog selector wich is launched.

If you choose import images, a file dialog will appear. This can look different, in the AppImage there is a simple Qt dialog, under a native digiKam version it can be a KF5 file dialog that looks similar to Dolphin. Then comes the actual digiKam import tool. There you can set a filter in the status bar and also filter out video files. Activate the display of all files again.
