STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. in a mail right click on the from address
2. select "add to addressbook
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT

nothing happens. kmail does not ask for me "what addressbook"

EXPECTED RESULT

kmail asks for me "what addressbook"

it seems only few mail addresses are concerned by this problem.

A bad from field ?
