Hi Philippe,

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about this

Unfortunately there is not much that we can do. In recent versions, Android has become more and more aggressive about preventing apps from doing any work while the phone is asleep. This makes the system battery life better in some cases, but it is really damaging to apps like KDE Connect :(

With my S2 plus, lineageos 14.1 (android 7.1.2) I get no problem.

With my pc (linux openSuse 15.1) when i view video with vlc, vlc do something to avoid lock screen.

Perhaps you can emulate some user actions thus android avoids going in sleep mode or something else which stops kdeconnect.

Today with MS Windows there is the equivalent of kdeconnect "your phone". Is there the same problem with copy/past file ?
