STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Wayland session
2. open Discover and search for "kaffeine"
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
below the search result appears a spinner that rotates all the time.
Discover freezes (window decoration says "Not responding...") and unfreezes
spontaneously and mouseover effect on the side bar is delayed while it rotates.

I've seen this happen, I have no idea how to improve this. This is probably a bug in KWin.

I can no longer reproduce.
