Could you please install debug symbols for libkwineffects (or kwin in general) and attach a new backtrace to this bug report? > Could you please install debug symbols for libkwineffects (or kwin in general) and attach a new backtrace to this bug report?
I have googled for a guide which package should I install and how and didn't found anything meaningful. Are there instructions somewhere how do I install the debug flags and create a new backtrace?
Please see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports For exact -dbgsym package names, please ask for help in a forum of your distribution. I am more than sorry for my questions, but I just can't find the kdelibs5-dbg and I only have libkwineffects12 in my repositories. Is there some problem with my sources.list? I have these lines in my sources.list (I have omitted the commented lines): deb http://hu.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan main restricted deb http://hu.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan-updates main restricted deb http://hu.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan universe deb http://hu.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan-updates universe deb http://hu.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan multiverse deb http://hu.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan-updates multiverse deb http://hu.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan-backports main restricted universe multiverse deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan-security main restricted deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan-security universe deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ eoan-security multiverse and wine and slack and other repos There should no such thing as kdelibs5 anymore; what you want is the debug package for libkwineffects. if `apt search libkwineffects` doesn't reveal anything then it sounds like either you don't have a debug repo installed, or you do and it isn't enabled, or it is but it doesn't have a debug package for libkwineffects. Either way, please ask the Ubuntu folks for help with this. They'll know best. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
