1. Sync with Google calendar account.
2. Add any new event
3. The reminder will not be shown

Same problem here with Kontact version 5.13.2 with plasma 5.18.0, Qt 5.14.1, kernel 5.5.4-1 on opensuse tumbleweed.

korgac has been replaced by a new reminder daemon, kalendarac, in version 22.04.0 (5.20.0).
If reminders do not work for you in that version, please submit a bug report for product "Reminder Daemon".
