For me the question arises, where was an empty list or empty item tags? You have to remember that digiKam can create tags from many different metadata fields. Maik Maik, All the pictures I am currently experimenting with originally contain the same tags both in iptc:keywords and xmp:subject. I have then "done something" with these tags (added, deleted, modified); in digiKam, but potentially also outside of digiKam. I purposely only ever modified these two locations but don't know what other places might have been also modified. I then went to "Edit Metadata / Edit IPTC" and deleted all the tags there. Which sometimes (but by no means always), under "digiKam properties", resulted in a list of tags that was neither empty nor corresponding to the tags shown under "Edit Metadata / Edit XMP". I am sorry I have not been able to reliably reproduce this. Also, it is a rather artificial scenario not likely to happen in real use, which is why I consider this issue of minor importance. But wanted to let you know about just the same. Best regards, Harald digiKam 7.0.0 stable release is now published: https://www.digikam.org/news/2020-07-19-7.0.0_release_announcement/ We need a fresh feedback on this file using this version. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier I have tried to provoke this problem again but have not succeeded. Best regards, Harald Thanks for the feedback. I close this file now... Gilles Caulier |
