SUMMARY

I tried over an hour to get my fresh installed (manjaro-kde-18.1.5-191229-linux54) ThinkPad A485 connected to my guest wifi (under KDE) - no chance.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Connect to wpa2 protected wifi (by 60 characters out of upper and lowercase letters and numbers, no special signs!) wifi
2. enter password in traymenu down right
3. get ask a second time, looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/UCZZoQ4.png
4. connecting failed

OBSERVED RESULT

What works:
- I am able to connect with no problem to a hotspot from my phone
- If i change the password to a much more less complex one("manjarotest" for example) and keep the same SSID it works.

BOTH WITH NO SECOND PROMT for a password!

EXPECTED RESULT

Should be working to use 60 character/number strong password, shouldn't it?

Problem was solved after reinstalling Manjaro WITH Internet Connection. I dont know why, but when i was doing it before without internet, i wasnt getting any updates via pacman and also was stuck on one (older) kernel.

Tried the old (long and complex) password, works great now!
