Tagged files are scattered all over the albums but can be view within 'digikam' as a group. However, this doesn't allow to access this group from outside of 'digikam'. I suggest a utility that collects all files with a specific tag or combination of tags and create soft links to these files in a FS folder of the user's choice for access by an external program, for instance.
