Description Cuillère 2020-01-19 18:24:55 UTC
SUMMARY
KDEnlive stops functioning entirely when trying to open a project created on another computer.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a project and save it
2. Try to open the project on another computer.

OBSERVED RESULT
The "loading project" pops up, but nothing else ever happens. Any interaction leads to Windows prompting "kdenlive.exe is not responding".

EXPECTED RESULT
The project should open.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows 10
KDE 19.12.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
KDE opens correctly project created with new computer.
I've tried dragging the projects into the kde window to open it as a clip.
the new project shows "properly" (i.e. the video and sound are ok, something happens.) the projects from the other computer import as black or white clips with no sound whatsoever.

This could be the "point comma" issue. Try these steps: https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/78#note_3980. Set it either to point or comma.
