Just tried this in 5.17.5 and it worked for me. (In reply to Filip Fila from comment #1) > Just tried this in 5.17.5 and it worked for me. I tried this today again.The password did change. Yesterday,this did not work in three different user accounts.But,it did work today.In between, I have installed just k3b ! But when it worked today,it is still asking for root password.I am sure,for own password changes,root permission should not be needed. So,I will edit the title of the bug-report and keep the report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 378984 *** |
