SUMMARY
First,not possible to change self password,even after providing correct root password.No error displayed after root password is given.'Apply' just greys out.But the password remains unchanged.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. System Settings > User Account Details >User Manager
2. click on change password,password is asked,give password
3. When apply is clicked,root password is asked,upon providing dialog closes and 'apply' greys out.
4.Try logout > Re-login.New password is not set.

It is actually bad to ask root password to change one's own password.Over that,still password is not set.

Also,this module lists all other users even as the user running the module is a normal user. Even other options of enabling system administration for the user are bad in this context.If at all that has to be given,then separate that choice from changing own password.

Just tried this in 5.17.5 and it worked for me.

I tried this today again.The password did change.

Yesterday,this did not work in three different user accounts.But,it did work today.In between, I have installed just k3b !

But when it worked today,it is still asking for root password.I am sure,for own password changes,root permission should not be needed. So,I will edit the title of the bug-report and keep the report.
