SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T, AND THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ME.

Today, I tried making my canvas input and then saving it as a document because I installed Krita with .appimage

But surprisingly, I did not find the button to save it.

I hope there is a button to save it. Very troublesome if I have to set it every time I will use Krita.

Canvas Input settings are saved when you modifiy them.

On linux the appimage saves to ".local/share/krita/input" directory independent from the appimage temporary mount point. I made sure it works copying my canvas input setings from another PC box I have to this directory. Once the krita.appimage opened the modified profile can be selected in the dropdown. To avoid any "overwrite" on canvas iput settings click "Edit profile", create a duplicate of the profile you are using, rename, close. Select the new created profile to use.

You can quickly navigate to krita resources within the program like this:
1. Menu: Settings -> Manage Resources
2. Click button on the right that reads "Open Resource Folder"

inside the "input" folder all the modifies canvas input profiles can be found. and you can copy them as any regular file. If you are on the same machine, and using the same maor version of krita the canvas input settings should be loaded without problem between appimage versions.
