I would prefer feedback in the form of specifying the problem rather than proposing a solution. When turning the compositor off, depending on the settings of the compositor, it may be hard to tell a difference and thus to determine it's state. Therefore I wanted to have an OSD if you can follow my argument. We haven't had other requests and on Wayland it's not relevant. It's not worth it at this point. I already had forgotten about it. Thanks for closing it. :) |
