SUMMARY
I have a video from my trip. This is 316 clips or 3.5 hours of video. All this is loaded into the project for more than three minutes. When I add all this to the timeline, Kdnlive freezes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Press Shift-A in Project Bin
2. Drag and drop clips to timeline

Yes there is a performance issue if you have a lot of clips. Which resolution and fps does your clips have (1080p50)? What is the size in GB of all this 316 clips?

Like explained in BUG 416166 the jobmanager got a rewrite and this is might fixed. Please test…
