Downgrading "resolved" the issue for me: Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.66.0 Qt Version: 5.14.0 Kernel Version: 5.4.6-2-MANJARO It's about this update: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/testing-update-2020-01-08-kde-git-pamac-9-3-firefox-72-plasma-5-17-5-haskell/118443 I have the same problem on my system with display scale factor 1.2. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.65.0 Qt Version: 5.14.0 I also have this problem on Arch and believe that Plasma no longer sets and respects env QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0 Running "QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0 Dolphin &" fixes the issue for that particular app but there is no way to set it globally. Tried with ~/.profile, ~/.config/plasma-workspace/env/env.sh, and ~/.xinitrc Doing "export QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0" on Konsole/shell sets the env but it does not affect the applications. Using this variable in /etc/profile results in Plasma not starting at all and going back to SDDM. Thank you.
