SUMMARY
Currently, to install the "Plasma Browser Integration" extension in Opera browser one has to install 3rd-party "Install Google Chrome Extensions" and then get the extension from Chrome store.

Or, download/install the package manually.

Can you please post the extension to addons.opera.com as well?

I literally did in December and it just got published now. :) I still can't find it listed on the Opera store, though...

However, thanks to their amazingly tedious review process, they missed the deadline for Plasma 5.17.5 and because for whatever reason the extension ID is different (despite having been signed with the same key!) I'll have to whitelist the extension for Plasma 5.18.

Actually reopening this because their review process is ridiculously tedious and hasn't completed.
Need to update the screenshots and texts, but they also want me to change the manifest.json which I will not do.
Comment 4 Kai Uwe Broulik 2020-01-16 09:54:03 UTC
So the extension got rejected because I kept the public key in the manifest.json. I am not going to provide a separate manifest purely for Opera given it is not an issue for Chrome or Firefox.

If you'd like to maintain the Opera Add-on releases, please get in touch.
