hi. i have install https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/kmarkdownwebview/ 
when i select "Enable automatic updates of the preview to the current document content" for real-time MD preview and create a "long" markdown document the Preview page won't scroll to the correct place(going top of the page with each Space)so you can no longer see the bottom, you need to scroll to bottom.
also the same problem with okularmd

I've just tested this on kate from git master and I believe I can reproduce the issue.

I also tested markdownpart but that allowed me to use spaces OK.

The preview plugin is not maintained, if you want to have this improved, please
submit a merge request, otherwise that will stay the way it is at the moment.

I am sorry that does create issues for you, but the only other fix would be to remove it.
