SUMMARY
When I close a clip monitor(so as to customize windows) them drag the video to the timeline Kdenlive freezes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open kdenlive
2. close clip monitor from the view on menu
3. drag a video clip on timeline

OBSERVED RESULT

kdenlive freezes


EXPECTED RESULT

Run as normal. it never used to happen in v. 18...

No crash. I tested with version 19.12.0 AppImage and Windows. Which version do you use?

Thanks, I would like to delete this bug report. It use to be a problem in kdenlive-19.04.0-x86_64.AppImage
