Description voncloft 2019-12-21 17:59:52 UTC
SUMMARY: Widgets are not able to be moved, unless the "Cashew" menu is open.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add any widget whether it be notes, or an analog clock to desktop
2. Try to move widget, in my case notes around the screen - refuses to move around
3. Click Cashew icon in right hand side of screen, and then the widget can be moved.

OBSERVED RESULT - Widgets can only be moved when the cashew icon menu is enabled

EXPECTED RESULT - Move widgets WITHOUT the cashew menu opened.

You can move widgets by clicking and holding. The desktop toolbox is removed in Plasma 5.18 and replaced with a new global edit mode.

I've clicked on the widget well over a minute to try and move them, it doesn't work

Never mind its working now....curious why it takes so long to move the widget.
