Do you run Kdenlive on Ubuntu? If so, try if the PPA supports cjk input (Chinese, Japanese, Korean languages). https://launchpad.net/~kdenlive/+archive/ubuntu/kdenlive-stable Created attachment 124636 [details]

Yes. PPA and APT is Debian, Ubuntu CJK OK. If this problem is difficult ... I'm going to use the TEXT Editor to copy and paste. But I hope it will be fixed someday. Thank you for your attention. Good Night.

Yes.
PPA and APT is Debian, Ubuntu CJK OK.
But
In fact, there are so many {appimage, floatpak} that do not support CJK.
The following apps will include {appimage, floatpak} supported by CJK...
Jopline Wiki Memo Note Appimage. GnomeTodo Flatpak. UberWrter Flatpak, etc.
So I am willing to take that into account. I understand that it is not easy.
If this problem is difficult ...
I'm going to use the TEXT Editor to copy and paste.
But I hope it will be fixed someday.
Thank you for your attention.
Good Night.
I suggest closing this bug as RESOLVED/NOT A BUG as the root cause of the problem is not in Kdenlive, but "Qt/KDE Flatpak Runtime". Also current KDE Flatpak Runtime contains ibus and fcitx plugin, but my setup with fcitx was not properly working (Kubuntu 19.10) and this should be discussed elsewhere. Added issue here: https://github.com/flathub/org.kde.kdenlive/issues/89 Could you folks comment here what it is exactly that you are missing: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435382 As a fcitx developer point of view, since this bug is report quit long time ago, it's not really clear if the system is too old that doesn't have up to date fcitx (>=4.2.9.7). There was a upstream flatpak break change that make fcitx 4.2.9.7 to be the minimum version to work with current kde's flatpak runtime. Fcitx im module is included in kde flatpak runtime long time ago. So there is nothing we could do there. I just checked on archlinux + kdenlive from flathub. Fcitx just works properly. As for AppImage, it should be a totally different story. Could you please test the latest versions. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
