SUMMARY
Most of the effects are in a way low-level. They do one thing and they do it right.
But imagine I want to do an Star Curtain (like Homer). Right now it is quite hard to do, but if someone who knows how to do it can program it and offer it from hotnewstuff with a simple configuration, it will make this task a lot easier.

before 19.04, we used to have effect groups that could be saved (and eventually exchanged), we plan to restore and extend that functionality:
