SUMMARY
It would be nice to have virtual desktops for "Present windows" arranged as they are in set up in virtual desktops / pager, e.g. when multiple windows of the same application exist on multiple desktops, sorting order for "Present windows" (when clicked on icon) are from the pager (row1+col1,row1+col2,row2+col1,row2+col2) for 4 desktops arranged in 2x2 and so on for other setups.

You can forward this to Plasma devs, Latte is not responsible for such behaviors.

For clarification: I have enabled "Preview windows" in lattedock, I click on task icon and it shows all windows with their respective desktops for particular application, that's plasma thing showing them and not lattedock?

If so, I'll just reassign this bug to frameworks-plasma (I guess).

Enable, Tasks, Filters, Filter by current desktop

and it will work just fine.

Well, this is about order of virtual desktops and not about hiding all applications except current desktop, which would then render this enhancement request useless.

Are you familiar with the DesktopGrid KCM?

Are you basically asking for that with the same filter present windows has?

I am familiar, but this is about ordering tasks (windows) for one application in multiple desktops.
See attached screenshot.

Another improvement could be that current desktop tasks (windows) are on top, the rest are sorted by virtual desktop order.
