KMail settings / Appearance / General tab. There's a "show unread email in taskbar" box. It's probably not available in your version however. Indeed, not there yet. Good to know it is configurable in newer versions, thanks ! Specific folders, e.g. the one holding a large mailing list, can also be excluded from the new mail count: Menu bar - Folder - Folder Properties - General tab Turn off "Act on new/unread mail in this folder". |
