Yeah, this is a holdover from the Oxygen days that was never modernized. We shouldn't be using custom widgets here anyway, as they don't tend to age well. This something just esthetics, but I feel the current custom button to remove a selection from the comparison does not really fit to the rest with its very round corners. However, I haven't come up with something better yet. :)
