SUMMARY
After upgrading desktop to ubuntu mate 19.10 leila system kdelive is crashing, there are missing fonts and fuctions, system failure claims there is not enough internal memory to process project.
Not sure if kdelive is ready for latest ubuntu mate 19.10 leila or when.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start in vbox in previous version 19.04
2. Start in open suse VM machine
3. Wait for version ready for 19.10

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.08.3b to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ 

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.
