When I open System settings after a short while it crashes. It does this everytime.

Hi,

Please note that crash reports require that you provide a backtrace.
Can you please provide the backtrace from the KDE Crash Dialog?
If the crash dialog does not show up, please get a backtrace using GDB:
https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports#Retrieving_a_backtrace_with_GDB

Please also include:

1. Steps to reproduce
2. Versions of KDE software running on your setup. You can get this from the Info Center (kinfocenter).
