Description majid_casting@yahoo.com 2019-11-28 21:10:20 UTC
I have more than 100 tags in digikam tag list, sometimes I want to see desired tag except a tag or tags . please put the new option in advance search that users can select tags from tag list(in checkbox format) that digikam doesn't show images that users don't want. for example:
group A contain images is tagged as "1"
group B contain images is tagged as "2"
group C contain images is tagged as "1&2"
and I want to search images that is tagged as "1" but digikam shows me Group A and Group C because group C tags contain name:"1". please put checkbox list that users can select desired tag except a tag or tags.
Comment 1 majid_casting@yahoo.com 2019-11-28 21:32:30 UTC
I have more than 7000 images with over 100 tags in digikam, I tagged all images that 2000 of them tagged as "A" and the other images have other tag name and I created new tag that named as "B" and if I want to add all images to "B" except images that named as "A" for this I have to select images one by one and that take more time . please put the new option in advance search that users can select tags from tag list(in checkbox format) that digikam doesn't show images that users don't want.

This function already exists. Look in the head of the advanced search and open the "Options". Here you can negate your search.

thanks, I found it but the "advance search" design is not user friendly and is confusing please change appearance of it.
