SUMMARY
Kolourpaint is one of the featured application on discover, when flathub is the only available source. However, it shows a very low-res icon.

That icon is also visible on flathub at the following address: https://www.flathub.org/apps/details/org.kde.kolourpaint

This is something that the Kolourpaint packagers on FlatHub decided. I see you have filed https://github.com/flathub/org.kde.kolourpaint/issues/9. That's the correct location, and there isn't anything we can do here, sorry.
