SUMMARY

Using 'Search in Files' stores the last directories, the last file extensions, the last search strings and  options like search depths etc. . Some of this values and in the end all values are forgotten by KDevelop from time to time. There is no scheme I can detect, when this happens. Sometimes only the used extension seems to be forgotten, sometimes everything.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

I can not reproduce this failure. It happens several times a month without scheme I can see.

OBSERVED RESULT

Values of the last "Search in files" are forgotten.

EXPECTED RESULT

Values of the last "Search in files" are always stored.
