Confirmed. After cut the curve effect, the effect on the right clip part is reseted. I tested with the master.It should be solved. Please try with the Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage_Build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ I see: "bezier curve works" but "curves" doesn't work. Thanks for your report! If I remember right this has been fixed in the past (at least I can not reproduce with 20.12.3 anymore) so I am closing this. Feel free to reopen if you can still reproduce! |

Add Curve effect to clip 2. Set curve to desired values 3. Split clip OBSERVED RESULT In 2nd part of the clip the curve effect is reset to default values EXPECTED RESULT In 2nd part of clip values of curve effect should be as set in 1st part SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 18.03.3LTS 64 bit, Kernel 5.0.0-36-generic, MATE 1.20.1 (available in About System) KDE Frameworks Version: 5.61.0 Qt Version: 5.12.4 Kdenlive version: 20.03.70-5f78606-x86_64 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This also happens when copy-paste effect is applied or effect saved and applied from custom effects
