SUMMARY

When I draw comic, I can't get the lines right with one try. I have to try many times to draw a perfect line. For this reason, I need a quick way to undo my change and try again.

When using photoshop, I configure one of the wacom pen button to be the undo.

But this is not doable with krita, as in the canvas shortcut settings, pen button can't trigger undo at all.

Linux/KDE Plasma: ubuntu 18.04

Qt Version: 5.13.1

I think I remember reading that KDE has a tablet control/setup utility. Could that be used to map a pen button (or a tablet button) to Ctrl+Z ?

(@Ahab asked a question, so the bug status should be changed to NeedsInfo until the question is answered.)

I do not use kde. I don't know how to answer. I use vanilla ubuntu.

I would like this to be an option in Krita. How are you gonna support mac and windows if this needs kde?

plus, photoshop has this feature built in.

You need to configure this on the tablet driver settings level. How that is done, depends on the OS and the tablet brand and model. Configure the pen button to send ctrl-z in the tablet configuration utility that comes with your OS. Vanilla Ubuntu uses Gnome these days, which comes with a suitable utility.
