first draft
I made a first draft. Is this the way to go?
Thanks, that looks great! Could you formally submit it as a patch to the plasma-frameworks repo? You would check out https://cgit.kde.org/plasma-framework.git, and put it in the src/desktoptheme/breeze/icons folder. I can help out if anything is unclear! See also https://hig.kde.org/style/icons/action_status.html and https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Icon_Workflow_Tips Did so and added VDG as reviewer. Working first time with Phabricator I hopefully did everything right... https://phabricator.kde.org/D25815 Thanks, you did great! We'll get that reviewed. `transmission-tray-icon` and `transmission-tray-icon-symbolic` appear to both exist in the Breeze icon theme. For Plasma 6 they should be used now. Transmission-qt just needs to make sure that it's asking for an icon by one of those two names (and preferably the -symbolic version) and then it'll have a nice monochrome System Tray icon in Plasma. |
Created attachment 124029 [details] Transmission icon in notification area The Transmission (transmission-qt) icon in the notification area doesn't follow the visual identity of the Breeze icon theme. I expected it to look more minimalist, like the other icons. Could this be improved? Thank you. $ dpkg-query -W breeze-icon-theme breeze-icon-theme 4:5.64.0-0xneon+18.04+bionic+build28
