Are you able to reproduce this in Plasma 5.17? Plasma 5.15 is not an LTS version and is longer supported. I'm on Kubuntu and therefore seemingly stuck on an older version. Is there a way to upgrade Plasma on Ubuntu to a newer version than supposed? Why does Kubuntu come with a Plasma version that isn't supported anymore? It was supported at the time when you installed it, but time flies. :) You're still using Kubuntu 19.04, while the latest version is 19.10, which includes a newer version of Plasma.
