You can set up Spectacle to do this manually in the settings window in later versions (Spectacle 17.12 is two years old) but it isn't done automatically. In v19.12.2 I can see two options for sequential numbering, but it's totally non-apparent how to keep the filename preface. All the placeholders seem to be unrelated to the previously chosen filename. Try the following: Configure - General - enable "Autosave the image to the default location" Configure - Save - Set your desired Save Location; set Filename to "Shanghai skyline %2d" Now every time you hit PrtScr , it will take a screenshot and save it with sequential numbering. One drawback: when you finish that batch, you have to go back to Settings and change back the Filename to some default. |
