The real problem here occurs when windows in the background are dimmed. Activating 'pick screen color' mode don't allow Alt+Tab window switching and we are unable to capture the real color, furthermore none of the system shortcuts work in that mode (window minimizing etc.). Maybe the biggest issue is that *workaround* - 'Color picker' widget don't implement hovered color preview. This functionality would have to be added in the Qt QColorDialog component that the app is a thin wrapper around; I'm afraid we can't add it here without that. |
