MOVIT is not stable. This is the reason why it's switched of in the official release. Does it crash without GPU as well? Does it crash without GPU as well? No, it does not crash. But without GPU acceleration, it is very sluggish. But the flatpak simply does not have this problem. I report this because I want the snap to package be better. This bug can be easily reproduceable. I can't give any log anymore because I already remove the apps. |
Created attachment 123847 [details] I run kdenlive in terminal and copy the messages. SUMMARY After installation I can run kdenlive just fine. But after I enable GPU processing (movit library) it crash at startup every time. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. install kdenlive from snap store 2. enable GPU processing (movit library) and restart kdenlive at prompt. 3. crash at startup. OBSERVED RESULT crash at startup everytime. EXPECTED RESULT start kdenlive without crashing SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS / Gnome 3.28.2 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
