KDE Discover does not allow reviews for command line tools such as nwipe, lolcat, figlet etc. No reviews are shown on these programs. Also the text "install this app and be the first to write a review!" is not shown. If you install the app there is no write a review option.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Search for nwipe in discover
2. Notice that there are no reviews and no "install app to review" text

Issue in 5.16.5 and just tested in 5.17.1. Most probably present in releases earlier than 5.16.5

Aleix, does ODRS allow reviews for non-appstream apps/packages/tools?
Comment 3 Aleix Pol 2019-11-07 14:32:04 UTC
We need an appstream id to be able to submit reviews.
If you think these tools need reviews, they probably also should get appstream metadata.
